“Our Future Together” was a youth exchange that gathered a total of 46 young people from 7 European countries (Romania, Poland, Estonia, Denmark, Turkey, Spain and Latvia) to form a group, exchange knowledge and work together to raise awareness regarding the issues immigrants are confronting with in our societies. The activities took place between 19 and 30 November 2014 in Dorna Arini, a village near the mountain resort Vatra Dornei, in Romania’s historical region Bucovina.
During the project, the participants were involved in different activities that stimulated both individual reflection and group work and also created materials to help disseminate and promote the values and the raising of awareness about immigrants’ issues. There were conversations about cultural differences, discussions about real-life situations and sharing of views.
